Jenna carries out a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment work for both employer and employee clients.  Jenna has a wealth of experience of Employment Tribunal claims, as well as of cases progressing to the Employment Appeals Tribunal and beyond.

Jenna has recently achieved a successful outcome in the widely publicised case of her client, Miss Kumulchew, a dyslexic shift supervisor, against her employer, Starbucks, in the Employment Tribunal.  You can read more about this case at the following link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35521061.

Jenna is passionate about disability discrimination law.  She has built up a particular specialism in advising clients in respect of workplace situations involving many different types of neurodifferences, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism.  Furthermore, Jenna also focuses on advising clients with mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety.

Jenna graduated from Merton College, Oxford University in 2007 with a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence. She completed her training contract in the City at Macfarlanes and qualified as a solicitor in September 2011.  On qualification, Jenna worked as a tax disputes associate at a magic circle law firm.  She moved to a London employment specialist firm to focus exclusively on employment law and recently left after over 7 years to join didlaw in September 2019.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys taking her toddler to baby ballet, reliving her youth in adult ballet classes, watching musical theatre and organising home improvements.

“I was having a very difficult time with my employers and didlaw gave me the support and legal clout that I needed in order to reach a satisfactory conclusion. I found everyone at didlaw to be very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to. In particular, I was always treated with great respect and never felt “put down”, stupid or rushed when speaking to didlaw staff about my employment matter, I could say all that I needed to say and was always listened to.”

"The speed with which my situation was taken on board, understood and acted upon was excellent and very re-assuring. Throughout our dealings both empathy and communication were excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending the firm."

“Although I requested your legislative services I received far more than that. Your moral support throughout the difficult times I’ve been through has been more than I would have hoped for. It is true, you’re not just another law firm!”
