We will review your settlement agreement and arrange a time to speak to you on the telephone or at our offices in London. We will need a copy of your employment contract and any documents which will help us to understand the dispute that has arisen which has led to your exit. This will lead to two possible outcomes:
If you are happy with the terms…
if you are happy with the terms of the settlement agreement and we are satisfied that you fully understand the terms within it, we will arrange for you to sign and return the agreement to us for execution without further amendment.
Standard Settlement Agreement fees range from £350 – £750 plus VAT
If you want to renegotiate all or part of the agreement…
If you are not entirely happy with the terms of the settlement agreement we will work with you and your employer to renegotiate its terms. Once appropriate agreement has been reached, we will arrange for you to sign and return the amended agreement to us for execution and advise you of any further steps required.
Renegotiated Settlement Agreement fees range from £1,000 – £2,000 plus VAT

We offer advice on settlement agreements on the basis of the fee estimates outlined above. Any work beyond these levels will be charged on the basis of hourly rates. Your employer may offer a standard contribution to your costs but is under no legal obligation to do so. Remember, you cannot rely on the fact that your employer will meet your full costs. Often they do not and there will be a contribution you will need to fund yourself. We can give you an indication of what this will be.
